MAKARFI IS THE NEW PDP CHAIRMAN - COURT DECLARES

Senator Ahmed Makarfi is now the bona fide chairman of the People Democratic Party, PDP. This the declaration was made clear by the High Court located in Portharcourt, Rivers State, on Monday, July 4, 2016.

Markafi, who was the caretaker committee chairman of PDP, has now be appointed by the National Convention as the real executive of the PDP. This was reveled by the party on their media platform @pdpNigeria.

On May 21, the PDP sacked their chairman, Ali Modu Sherif, during the National Convetion in Portharcourt and elected a caretaker committe led by Makarfi. Although, Sherif didn't accept his removal as the chairman. His supporter protest on June 17, 2016 and took to the gate of the PDP Wadata Plaza Headquarter in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja.
