"OPC CAN REPEL THE IJAW YOUTHS" - GANI ADAMS


OPC'S SYMBOL

The National Coordinator of Oodua Peoples Congress(OPC), Otunba Gani Adams, has said that the Ijaw youth terrorizing the South-West are defeatable and that the OPC have what it takes to repel them.

The Ijaw youth, who are said be in some connection with vandalization of oil pipes, have now been involving robbery and kidnapping of people nation wide. The have been connected with the 50 massacres in Ikorodu, Lagos, Imose and Totowu in Ogun state. They invade villages and towns through the rivers. They act lawlessly and ruthlessly.

Otunba Gani Adams, have condemned the killing of people in the South-West by the suspected Ijaw Youths, but insist that if the government will join force with the OPC they won't confront the militants. He said that this does not mean that the OPC does not have it takes to repel them but the law enforcement agent should tell the people how many of the criminals have they arrested to the 50 people that were massacre. He has called on the Leaders of South-West to support the OPC to fight their interest.
