DEMBA BA'S BROKEN LEG COULD BE THE END OF HIS CAREER
The former Chelsea and Newcastle striker broke his leg while playing for Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League.
The Senegalese, 31, suffered this career threatening injury in a Derby match between Shanghai Shenhua and Shanghai SIPG. He collided with another player, during the match, while his left leg given away beneath his knew while he ell down.
"It could end his professional career", Shenhua coach, Gregorio Manzano, said.
Demba Ba played in the English Premier League for Westham, Newcastle and Chelsea before moving to Besiktas, a Turkish club, then joined the Chinese Club Shanghai Shenhua last July for fee around 12m.
He is the the top scorer in the division with 14 goals in 18 appearances. He definitely still got it in him. Wishing him quick recovery.
