BEENIE MAN MISSES OVO DUE TO ZIKA VIRUS INFECTION

The popular Jamaica King of dance-hall artist,Beenie Man has been reported to have contacted the mosquito-borne deadly disease, known as Zika virus, and he has been denied a Canadian visa from entering the country therefore, missing out on the  seventh annual OVO fest.

Beenie Man, real name Anthony Moses Davis, a Grammy Award Winner, has gone to his Instagram account to lament on his missing out of the seventh annual OVO fest which will go down in Canada due to being a victim of the wide spreading mosquito-borne Zika virus deadly disease. He wrote:

"Jah know...dah week ya deal with me a way! No visa fi mi Canada show(I apologize to my fans in case you haven't seen the pres release )... Zika virus hol' mi. The same Zika mosquito gi mi dengue. Blood test, injection, pills. Wi a hol firm still. Selassie a guide I n I right through, so once mi have life mi a give thanks."#Unstoppable.

                         

The OVO Fest concert is an annual concert organised by Canadian born singer and rapper, Drake.

Its previous edition has featured performances from top entertainers such as Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill and Kevin Hart.
