AMAZING DISCOVERY: WELLS IN LAGOS, NIGERIA,CONTAIN DIESEL NOT WATER
The police made this discovery on Friday, 12, 2016, when they were attending to a distress call about diesel theft in the area of Ilasamaja.
Around the area Ibadan and Abeokuta street in Ilasamaja, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government area, LASEMA, Lagos State Emergency Angency, spokesman Kehinde Adebayo said to DAILY post correspondent that the agency received a distress call from eyewitnesses in the mentioned area above that some certain people are involved in bunkering. Eyewitnesses confirmed that tricks are always seen in the night coming in and out with loads of diesel. ERT, according to their investigation, believes that some houses in that area have knowledge of a well filled with diesel.
“The affected area has been cordonned off, while occupants of the affected houses were asked to vacate immediately to avoid any disaster.”, said Kehinde Adebayo.
General Manager LASEMA, Michael Akindele said that the Lagos State Government will soon come out with further action to be taken on the matter.
