TRAIN KILLED 20 PEOPLE IN ITALY

In Southern Italy, in the coasta town of Bari and Barletta, two passenger trains collided and left twenty people dead and dozens injured, source BBC.

this collision happened in good weather around 11.30 local time(09.30 GMT), in the Southern region of Puglia. The trains were said to be on a single track while the incident happened.

It was unclear what really happened. But a local prosecutor suspects human error to have been the cause of the accident.

The emergency service have been trying to rescue passengers from the shattered carriage. A small baby who was airlifted to the Hospital was also pulled from the wreckage. The Local authorities have appealed for blood donors to come forward.
