He is popularly known as "BasketMouth", but by birth he is Bright Okpocha. He has gone to his social media to display a picture that showed when he started from grass to grace.

He was born in Lagos but hail from Abia. He is a comedian and an actor. He has organised popular stand-up comedy shows in the world, like Basketmouth Uncensored, He had his primary and secondary education in Apapa, Lagos. He furthered at the University of Benin, Benin State, Nigeria, where he studied sociology and anthropology.
