ISLAMIC STATE MILITANTS KILLED 125 RAMADAN SHOPPERS

Late on Saturday evening  a car bomb exploded in Karrada District. Mainly Shai was busy as people were busy shopping because it is the Holy month of Ramadan. 125 people were reported dead. 

Another bomb blast was reported to have exploded again in the midnight in the same Shai area. This time kiling another five people. The Prime Minister of Iraq, Haider al-Abadi was met by angry crowd while he visited the scene on Sunday. He then declared three days of mourning. 

The bombing in Karrada has been recorded has the deadliest this year. This attack was followed by the letter written by the Islamic States Militants,IS, saying that although they might be defeated on the battle field, they can still hit back where it hurts- kiing of civilians in the central capital of Iraq and other major places in the country.

The United States said on Sunday that the following the attack on Saturday night it has only strengthen its resolve to help the Iraqis forces to fight the IS. "We remain in United with Iraqi people and government to to destroy Isil", the White House statement said, according to Bbc.

IS suffered a great defeat in the hands of Iraqi forces known as Falluja, Falluja is less tan a an hour drive from Baghdad. Falluja have been in the hands of IS sine 2014 and have finally gotten thier freedom.
