FIND OUT HOW MANY COUNTRIES PRESIDENT BUHARI HAD VISITED TO HOW MANY STATES IN NIGERIA

Many Nigerians have been complaining on the issue that their president have been visiting too many countries instead of concentrating on the countries affair and fulfilling his political agenda for the country before been elected.



But according to the Presidency,these trips were intended to secure international support to implement the cardinal progarmmes of his government which comprise the fight against the insurgency and maintenance of the nation’s security; the fight against corruption and many others.

Many Nigerians wanted change and it seems they are already getting it.

So on CLEFNET  today we are looking at how many countries President Buhari have visited to how many states he had visited so far in Nigeria in his first year in office.

Since in inauguration, President Buhari had visited over 26 countries in the world and just 5 states in Nigeria. 
  
Below are some of the states the president had visited:

But here in Nigeria the president had visited just 5 states. Below are the states are purpose of visiting;
1. Katsina state (June, September 2015, May 2016) Daura is the home town of the president. So, there is no wonder that Buhari has been here for three times during the last year. Barely after the inauguration he paid a courtesy visit to Emir of Daura, Umar Farouk in June, 2015. In September last year the president also visited Katsina state. Several weeks ago Buhari declared open and participated in the Katsina state Economic and Investment Summit, aimed at diversifying the state’s ailing economy. 
2. Kaduna state (June 2015) President Buhari was welcomed by a crowd of supporters while he arrived in Kaduna state for the state visit last June.
 3. Cross River (October 2015) The Nigerian president attended the ceremony for the construction of the 260km dual carriage road to link Calabar to Northern Nigeria.
4. Ogun state (February 2016) Buhari visited Ogun state in February in commemoration of the state’s 40th anniversary celebration. 5. Lagos state: (May 2016) The leader of the nation was scheduled to visit the Lagos state for a two-day working visit in May.

And on this visitations to his own countries, he had been represented by his vice, Vice President Yemi Osibanjo. According to report, his excellency couldn't make it because of health problem. Then who have been visiting these countries...
