NIGERIA PRESIDENT MOHAMMADU BUHARI CERTIFICATE SUIT - COURT ADJOURN CASE

There has been a controversy over the academic credentials of Buhari. He was alleged not to have included his West African School Certificate among the documents he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the build up to the election.

He was said to have written to INEC, stating that his Secondary School Certificate was with the military board.
But the military‎ board claimed it did not have the document in its possession.
President Buhari is being represented in the case by Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), Lateef O. Fagbemi (SAN), Chief Akin Olujinmi (SAN), Oluwarotimi O. Akeredolu (SAN), Kola Awodein (SAN), Taiwo Osipitan (SAN).
                             
Others are Charles Edosomwan (SAN), Emeka Ngige (SAN), Femi Atoyebi (SAN), Femi Falana (SAN), Funke Aboyade (SAN) and H.O. Afolabi.
Justice ‎Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, yesterday adjourned the suit challenging the veracity of the academic credentials of President Muhammadu Buhari indefinitely.
