NPFL : IKORODU UNITED FC INVOLVED IN A GHASTLY BUS ACCIDENT

The newly promoted Lagos football club, Ikorodu United fc, who are currently sitting at the bottom of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, and have only managed to earn 15points out of 21 games, were involved in a ghastly accident while traveling to  ahead of their Sunday football match against the Lobi Stars. 

The accident happened on the route from Enugu to Markurdi.

“It happened at about 4pm this evening when a trailer was trying to get hold of itself, lost control and faced our bus. Our players started jumping out through the window. But we thank God that there were no casualties  but only sustained minor injuries.” Media Official, Babatunde Ayoola told Goal.

He continue by saying that the incidents have been reported to the sport officials, and not sure if the Sunday game against Lobi Stars will still hold or not.
