AYO FAYOSE VERUS AISHAT BUHARI : THE BATTLE CONTINUES
Last week the First Lady of Nigeria, Aishat Buhari gave the Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose an ultimatum of five working days to withdraw his accusations against her, which expired 29th of June, 2016.
Following the statement released by the Fayose to major media stating that the wife of Nigeria President, Aisht Buhari involvement bribery scandal and stating that she was an accomplice in the crime, in which the U.S legislator convicted the America Congressman William Jefferson in 2009, which quoted from the exert copy of from the United States Department of Justice website.
But the Ekiti Governor, Fayose has dared the First lady by not withdrawing his statements as requested by her legal office. The wife the president who is presently on a lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia, according to Daily Trust, is yet to any legal action if he ails to do as she had requested in her letter to him.
Daily trust also reported that, the director of the office of Aishat has confirmed that they are yet to receive any letter in regard to the letter which was addressed to the office of the Ekiti Governor, whose bank account had already be frozen by the Nigeria anti-graft commission on June 20, 2016.
