AMODU SHUAIBU,ANOTHER FORMER SUPER EAGLE COACH, DIED AT THE AGE 58


Just three days ago Nigerians were mourning the death of the former Super Eagle player and coach, Stephen Keshi, then the death of another Super Eagle coach was reported this morning, Amodu Shaibu.

The four-time Nigerian national football team coach and NFF technical director of  was reported dead this morning, at around 4.am, on the social media of the Nigeria Football Federation site.

 He said to have complained of chest pains earlier yesterday and he still drove his friend to his place that same yesterday only to be found dead this morning.

He has been taking to the Mortuary at Stella Obasanjo Hospital where is body is deposited.

The late Amodu was born April 18, 1958 in Edo State. He qualified Nigeria for the 2010 World cup in South Africa, where the Super Eagle finished in the third place. He managed the Super Eagle between 1998-1999, 2001-2002 and 2008-2010.
